Wood Staining and Finishing

Wood finishing is all about bringing out what is already there.

A Little Paint provides wood staining and finishing for doors, trim, railings, built-ins, furniture, and other wood surfaces. Depending on the project, the process may include sanding, cleaning, conditioning, staining, and applying a protective clear finish.

Good wood finishing takes patience. The prep, stain choice, grain, existing condition, and final topcoat all affect the finished look.

Whether we are refreshing older woodwork or finishing something new, the goal is the same: protect the surface, bring out the character of the wood, and create a finish that feels intentional.
